Gospel Singer Turns Sex Goddess

Controversial Nigerian gospel singer, who is well known for her x-rated photographs, Caroline Sam, popularly known as Maheeda, has revealed why she returned to her old lifestyle.
The Edo State born singer, who was once a prostitute and made an open confession that she has repented and found Christ, said the reason she posted sensuous pictures of herself on her twitter and instagram accounts lately was because she wanted to show the world how sexy she is.
Maheeda, a self-confessed born-again Christian, was a special guest on a programme monitored on Galaxy Television, Lagos, Thursday morning. She said she was a born again Christian at a time but later backslid in her calling.
She said despite the fact that she is still spiritually inclined, she does not regret posting her semi-nude pictures on the social-media.
According to the self acclaimed baddest naija bitch, “I’m not posting those nude pictures on the internet to teach people to start going naked, I posted them because I felt I am sexy and I love sexuality.
“In Europe, where I live, at a certain age, parents will start to teach their children about sex education. But it is unfortunate that I came from this part of the world (Africa) where sentiment is attached to everything.
“I’m 31 years old and I can’t pretend to behave like a baby or something. I’m sexy and I like it. I’m still spiritually inclined and I have some gospel songs which are not out yet. One of them is Papangolo,” she said.
When told that she was supposed to be a role model and should not be the one posting nude pictures on the internet, she replied: ”I think the parents has a lot to do in that respect. They should try as much as possible to prevent their children from going naked on the streets.
“They should teach them sex education. Those nude pictures you see is Maheeda. That is me. I am just expressing myself. I’m sexy and I am only appreciating that fact because I love sexuality,” she averred.
She had earlier in an interview talked about how she struggled to quit prostitution and turned to God for help.
She was quoted as saying “even after getting married, I still have this urge of going out to meet a man. But I felt it should not be so. I’m trying to let people know there is a spirit behind prostitution.
“If there were no spirits, why after getting married, I still have such urge. I have everything. I live in Lekki, I’m driving a very big car and my husband gives me whatever I want, so why would I still feel like going into prostitution?
“There is a spirit behind it. I continued prostitution even after getting married. The only thing that changed me was being born again and being delivered.”
Maheeda had received severe criticisms from Nollywood movie director Charles Novia as regards her raunchy pictures on twitter and instagram.
Novia in an article entitled: “Maheeda’s maladjustment,” wrote about the prominence of naked pictures of the singer on different social media.
The controversies and criticisms she attracted with her semi-nude photos led to her being banned from the social media site Instagram.

Mary Mary Singer Erica Campbell Hits Back At Critics Who Think She’s Too Sexy To Praise God

Mary Mary singer Erica Campbell caused an outrage among the Christian community after she released photos for her new album cover.
The photos were deemed “too sexy” for someone supposed to be singing God’s praises, but Campbell has hit back at her critics.
According to Clutch Magazine, Apostle Stacey Woods of Impact Outreach Ministries, Inc. lashed out at the 41-year-old on Facebook for her form fitting white attire. “THIS IS NOT OKAY. Yes, you are a beautiful, curvy woman…but NO MA’AM YOU ARE SINGING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. Saints…smh COME ON.”
Yesterday (Dec. 17) Campbell responded to critics during an exclusive interview with Essence.com. And while she admitted that she felt “beautiful,” “confident,” & “strong,” with the support of her family during the photo shoot, she added that the criticism should yield itself a more in depth conversation towards Christianity and sexuality.“This is about confidence and realizing that God made you and that you are beautiful just the way you are,” she said. “I think that young girls shouldn’t only get sexy images from people who are not proclaiming Jesus. But I am. And I’m cute too.”

South Sudan army loses control of flashpoint town

Hundreds of civilians have fled to the UN compound

South Sudan's army said it had lost control of the flashpoint town of Bor, after clashes were reported with fighters loyal to the country's former vice president Riek Machar.

Fighting that erupted in the capital Juba late on Sunday spread to Bor, north of the capital and scene of an ethnic massacre in 1991, witnesses said, raising fears of a slide into civil war.

South Sudan's President Salva Kiir has accused Mr Machar of starting the fighting and trying to stage a coup, charges denied by Mr Machar.

The president sacked Mr Machar in July and political tension has simmered since then in the oil producing nation.

A journalist in Bor said that troops led by commander Peter Gadet, a Machar ally, had taken control of the bases, abandoned by the outnumbered Dinka soldiers.

A broader conflict could threaten vital aid and be exploited by neighbouring Sudan, which has had persistent rows with the South over their undefined borders, oil and security.

That would further hurt efforts to build a functioning state in the South.
In Juba, residents reported a tense calm after sporadic gunfire overnight, with traffic returning to the streets.
But the US State Department said it was organising evacuation flights and Britain said it was gathering the names of any citizens who wanted to leave.

Other western nations were expected to follow. Many aid workers live and operate in Juba.
The government said it arrested ten people, including seven former ministers, over the "foiled coup" and wanted to question several others, including Mr Machar.

Diplomats said the United Nations had reports of between 400 and 500 people killed and up to 800 wounded in the nation, which declared independence in 2011 from Sudan, after decades of civil conflict that left the south with barely any tarmac roads.

"Most people are scared they might be confronted with a mob or see dead bodies," said one aid worker in Juba, adding that the city was calmer this morning, after residents awoke to heavy gunfire and artillery blasts yesterday and on Sunday.

Political tension has been mounting since Mr Machar's dismissal. The former vice president has said he would run for president and has accused Mr Kiir of being dictatorial.
Mr Kiir had said before the clashes that his rivals were reviving rifts that provoked infighting in the 1990s.
He has faced public criticism for doing little to improve life in one of Africa's poorest nations.

Saheed Balogun replies ex-wife Fathia Balogun, exposes her past divorce

Movie Producer, Saheed Balogun has reacted to his ex-wife’s recent claim that Balogun filed a court case against her due to her refusal to drop his (Balogun) surname.
In a press statement debunking his ex-wife’s claim, Saheed said they were in court because they also got married in court, stating that it was only legal to have the court marriage dissolved.
Saheed in the statement disclosed that he is not the father of all their supposed three kids as Fathia Balogun had a kid from another man before they got married.
Read statement below:
“Yesterday I was accused of lying to the press on a recent rumor that has been circulating. I separated from my ex-wife Fathia Balogun in 2006, over 7 years ago.
Since we were legally married in court, we had to legally divorce in court to finalize the issue.
The public is welcome to go to the Lagos High Court to verify these records.
This has absolutely nothing to do with any name! I am not asking or forcing Fathia to stop using the name Balogun, as it is one of the most common Yoruba names.
Furthermore, to set the record straight, Fathia and I had TWO children together NOT THREE. Fathia’s first child is from a different husband that she later divorced before we were married. I never lied to anyone.
Journalists presented me with a rumor that had no basis in fact, so I simply stated that i do not want my private life made public. it is my privacy and concerns nobody.
I decided to stay quiet as the two parties involved in this issue are over 40 years old, and I think we are old enough to handle this issue MATURELY instead of turning our private matters into a public gossip debate.
I hope this issue is now clarified for the public, as I SAIDI BALOGUN am divulging the true facts myself instead of using a MISINFORMED publicist to do so for me.
There are so many positive aspects of Nigeria’s entertainment industry, we would rather focus on negative meaningless noise instead of these positive components.
Please give me the respect of keeping my personal life private and out of the public eye. I am focusing on my work. Thank you!”

Americans blast Mariah Carey for performing in Nigeria, ‘home of terror, death and fraud’

Popular US website Radar Online has blasted Mariah Carey for ‘performing for money men in Nigeria’ describing the country as the ‘World’s centre of bank fraud and human trafficking’.
The US singer performed in Nigeria Over the weekend, at the Access Bank’s annual Christmas gig on Saturday, December 14, 2013. The night was also dedicated the bank’s outgoing Managing Director Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede.
Well a writer (who clearly failed to include his/her name and used the pseudo ‘Radar Staff’) at Radar Online feels Mariah Carey’s trip to the West African country was unwarranted alleging that Nigeria is ‘well-known as the center of the world’s email financial crimes’ and is a country ‘well known for terror, death and fraud’.
The writer even goes on to say that the United Nations has described Nigeria as THE ’hub of human trafficking, a source, destination and transit country’.
And if that’s not enough, the website says ‘there are mass killings going on in two Nigerian states right now, and according to Human Rights Watch, the violence is being ignored by federal authorities’.
Mariah Carey’s camp haven’t responded to the report neither have they gotten back to our queries.

Toke Makinwa Opens Up After Breaking Up With Maje Ayida – “It’s Strange Being Single After 12 Years Of Dating”

Rhythm FM host Toke Makinwa has opened up about her break up to long-term ex-boyfriend and fiance, Maje Ayida.
The couple had been going strong, with news that Ayida had proposed and pictures of Toke with an engagement ring flooding the Internet.
All of a sudden, the story changed as we heard the couple had parted ways after 12 years.
In a recent interview with City People, the pretty vlogger talked about the whole story.
She said, “I am not under any pressure to get married. It’s the society that puts pressure on women not minding that divorce rates are high.
I was once in a long term relationship with Maje Ayida and it has come to an end. I think it’s unfair for me to speak about our relationship because he is not here to defend himself.  He is an amazing guy but it was not meant to be.
It’s strange being single again but I am taking it one step after the other.
One of the mistakes I made in my last relationship is that we dated for a long time. They were amazing years but they were also 12 long years. When you are faithful to someone, know what you can tolerate.
My Mr Right has to be God-fearing, who would not do certain things because he is God-fearing. He has to understand what I do and must not be selfish in any way”.

Sporting a gorgeous form-fitting yellow dress, the “Always Be My Baby” singer smiled and showed off her midriff for her millions of loyal fans.
However, Mariah has been criticized for performing at a Christmas party for Nigeria’s Access Bank, an event that also served as a going away party for controversial managing director Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede.
A Radar source shared, “Ironically given that she was performing for bankers, it seems Carey wasn’t aware Nigeria is well-known as the center of the world’s email financial crimes! Nigeria is even part of the name as in ‘Nigerian 411 Scams.’”
