Popular actress Funke Akindele has denied the rumors that she has found love again. Actually, it was claimed by the latest news published in City People magazine that the star actress has fallen in love again. But, the news has been refuted by the star without any delay through a press release issued by her publicist, Mr. Biodun Kupoluyi.
The statement said that the Glo Ambassador has a good financial position and she does not need to rely on anyone to look after her needs. Funke said she is now living in her own apartment in highbrow Lekki, and she is the only one who has paid for the property. She confirmed that it was her who paid for the property and not the man who she has been rumored to have fallen in love with.
She also disclosed that nothing has improved between her and estranged husband. And also, she has not found a new love. The rumor of the Nollywood actress having been fallen in love with a new man was spread through a lead story in the current edition of City People Magazine. Soon after the release, the news has gone viral online.
A rep for the 36-year old actress said, "The star appreciates the concern of fans and a section of the media on this matter of the heart, pleads for understanding as she continues to concentrate her creative energy on her career and immediate family".
The rep added that Funke has enjoyed all the love she has received from her fans in past few months. She is enjoying her work and every second she gets to spend with her colleagues on sets and looking forward to many more precious moments ahead.
Funke denied the news of reconciliation with her ex-hubby Kehinde Oloyede. She urged the media to report what is true and follow proper journalistic procedures and ethical concerns in sensitive issues like this.
