Influx of foreigners to Lagos through Mowe Ibafo.

Concerned residents of Mowe Ibafo area have raised an alarm to alert the Government of both Ogun and Lagos State on the influx of foreigners to Lagos through the Mowe Ibafo axis. They are requesting that the two governments should take action that can help curb the influx of foreigners who are always brought into Lagos State through Mowe Ibafo.

Information gathered revealed that the foreigners are suspected to be people from Niger Republic coming into Lagos from the Northern part of the Country.  Some say it could be a strategy by members of the terrorist group popularly known as Boko Haram to invade Lagos, while some say they could just be individuals from Neighbouring Countries searching for greener pastures.

Whichever the case, they are always seen loaded in a series of long vehicles and alighting at Mowe Ibafo area from where they usually trek into Lagos State in dozens in the early hours before the day breaks.
Members of the public are advised to be both calm and vigilant and they should immediately report any suspicious move by any stranger to the Police.
