Breaking News: Chinese Authorities in war with Nigerian dealers of Fake Wahl Clippers

Chinese authorities and Wahl Clipper Corporation in an attempt to ensure total eradication of fake product from being exported from the shore of China have raided a factory of Yongkang Wonderful Electrical Appliance Company, which specialises in producing fake clippers exported to Nigeria.

Report revealed that the order for production of the fake product was placed by a Nigerian Company with the name ‘’Blue Diamond’’.  The operation led to seizure of 10,000 Nigeria bound fake clippers and fake authorisation letter signed by a Festus U. Mbisiogu of Blue Diamond Freight LLC China ("Blue Diamond" .


Jinghua Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce, and officials of the Yongkang Public Security Bureau also joined in the seizure exercise.

Gaye son goes to court over Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’

TORONTO — Marvin Gaye’s eldest son has joined the chorus of Gaye children accusing Robin Thicke of stealing the late singer’s sound.
Marvin Gaye III alleges Thicke’s smash hit “Blurred Lines” copies “Got to Give It Up,” his song “Love After War” copies “After the Dance” and his “Million Dolla Baby” copies “Trouble Man.”

According to his statement of claim, the songs are “so similar to Gaye’s songs as to leave no doubt but that they were each wholly dependent for their very creations upon Thicke’s brazen copying.”
In August, Thicke and co-writers Pharrell Williams and Clifford Harris Jr. filed a lawsuit against Gaye’s family seeking “declaratory relief … that confirms plaintiffs’ unfettered right to exploit ‘Blurred Lines’ free of defendants’ claims.”

Asari-Dokubo Arrested in Benin Republic

Report reaching us has revealed that the leader of the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, was yesterday arrested in CotonouBenin Republic

 Festus Keyamo, who is his Lawyer and activist said Dokubo was picked up by the police between 1:00pm and 2:00pm around the Lubeleyi roundabout, and taken to an unknown destination.

According to his Lawyer ''Alhaji Dokubo-Asari carries on legitimate business and has been living partly in Benin Republic for many years now,” Keyamo said in his statement. “In fact, he owns houses, schools and an academy in that country. All these places have been searched as at this evening and nothing incriminating was found.” He suggested that Dokubo’s arrest and detention may be a ploy by “certain forces in Nigeria in unholy alliance with the Beninoise government” to keep his client away as 2015 approaches.

The lawyer is appealing to Nigerian government to immediately intervene and ensure that no harm befalls Alhaji Dokubo-Asari and to use all diplomatic means to secure his immediate release and safe return to Nigeria.

Don Jazzy turns 31

The multi-millionaire Nigerian music producer and CEO of Marvin Records  officially  turns 31 on 26 November.

Don Jazzy  was born in Abia State in 1982.He has worked with many Nigeria's biggest acts, including D'Prince, D'Banj and Tiwa Savage.

His latest achievement was being ranked Forbes Magazine's 36th most powerful celebrity in Africa. He is still much doing well in his career as a music producer.

Breaking News: APC Merges With New PDP

Report reaching us has revealed that the All Progressives Congress, (APC), has announced a merger with the Abubakar Baraje-led faction of the People’s Democratic Party, now known as ‘New PDP.’ The merger was announced at the end of a meeting today at the Kano Governors Lodge in Abuja. The statement was signed by the Interim Chairman of the APC, Chief Bisi Akande and Mr. Baraje.

The ‘New PDP spoke person Mr. Baraje read the terse communique to journalists at about 11.46 a.m. “In the interest of our country and in order to rescue Nigeria, we the new PDP have agreed to merger and work with the APC,” he simply said. This latest development means the APC now has a total of 18 States: its 11 governors and the seven governors who are members of the New PDP.


APC leaders, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Muhammed Buhari as well as the governors of Niger, Rivers, Kano and Kwara States: Babangida Aliyu, Rotimi Amaechi, Rabiu Kwakwaso, and Abdulfatah Ahmed were all present at the venue. Also present were former Kwara State governor Senator Bukola Saraki and Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola.

Tiwa Savage Now Mrs Balogun

On Saturday 23rd November, 2013 the Savage family handed over their daughter to the Balogun family
In an event that took place at the Ark Event Centre in Lekki, Lagos. the groom who is Tiwa’s manager, arrive the traditional engagement ceremony venue in an unmarked Black Bentley accompanied by scores of his friends in a convoy of assorted cars.

He was resplendent in a white Agbada with a matching ‘Abeti Aja’ cap and bearded jewellery. He complemented his attires with a pair of black Christian Louboutin Suede shoes. The event started proper with the groom family presenting the marriage items and dowry paid as required traditionally.

Reception followed with King Sunny Ade performance. There were also performances by Don Jazzy, Banky W, Dr. Sid, Omawumi and Waje among others.

The wedding venue was heavily secured by armed soldiers, Many invited journalists were barred from taking still and motion pictures of the happenings during the wedding ceremony.


However, their white wedding has been slated to hold early next year.

 Eminem revealed in interviews how Paul Rosenberg (his long-time manager) floated the idea of a major cosmetic shift back to his old look.  As Eminem reveals in interviews for his new Rolling Stone cover story, he admitted he was toying with the idea. "I was like, 'I'm so used to it being dark,' you know. So I just tried it," he says.

So what did it feel like looking into the mirror and seeing that blond hair again for the first time in six years? ‘’he says. "It was a little creepy." Admitting that the last time he was blond was an extremely difficult moment in his life, he adds, "I think getting sober and putting my hair back to its regular color was me washing my hands of it. Dyeing it back probably would have been bad for me a year or two after that. But I'm more comfortable in sobriety now."

He also reveals his problem with sleeping pills began as his career started to skyrocket. According to him as he expressed  "I started to get the sleep problem in the first place when I was feeling the pressures of having to be places at a certain time to perform — and be on par with every single thing that I did, because everyone is watching," he says. "Had I not went to pills I know I would have become a full-blown alcoholic.".

 



Breaking News: Nigerian Lady killed in the U.S.

A 26 years old Nigerian lady Adaobi Michaella Obih was found dead at an apartment at Riverstone Apartments in Columbus, Indiana. Her death is being investigated as a homicide. An officer of the Columbus Police Department said her neighbour, 36 year old Ryan Allen Klug, is a person of interest in the case. Ryan also lived in the apartment complex but has gone missing since Adaobi’s body was found.


While investigation is still on-going, the Columbus Police have not revealed how and why Adaobi was killed but they’re currently seeking the public’s help in locating Ryan Klug who is now on the run.





Aaron Carter is now having money trouble

Report reaching us has confirm that Aaron Carter is now having money trouble. It was revealed on the 21st November, 2013 that Nick Carter's kid brother has  been filed for bankruptcy.

Aaron Carter filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy protection to alleviate past issues in an effort to move forward with his life and career. The overwhelming majority of the debt he is asking to be discharged is from more than 10 years ago when he was a minor and not in control of his finances.

According to Carter's bankruptcy documents, which was filed in Port Richey, Fla., he has between one and $10 million in estimated liabilitiesAaron Carter is the latest celebrity to have money trouble. It was revealed today that Nick Carter's kid brother has filed for bankruptcy.

Three women believed to have been held as slaves for 30 years have been rescued from a south London house

British police has revealed that they had arrested two people who allegedly held three women as slaves in their London home for decades. These were a Malaysian woman, 69, an Irish woman, 57, and a British woman, 30, were all rescued, said detective inspector Kevin Hyland, adding that his force had never seen anything of this case before now.
Speaking further, he said a man and a woman, both age 67, had been arrested as part of an investigation into slavery and domestic servitude. Police said they were contacted in October by the Freedom Charity, after they received a phone call from a woman who said she had been held at a house in south London for more than 30 years.
Police were able to free the women, after locating the house and "sensitive negotiations" conducted by the charity, who were all highly shocked but now in a place of safety,
