The said Convicted murderer Thandi Maqubela has been scheduled
to appear at the Western Cape High Court today Wednesday 20th
November, 2013. The late acting Judge Patrick Maqubela's body was found in his apartment
in 2009. Medical evidence could not conclusively ascertain the cause of his
death.
The wife of the late acting judge was allegedly found guilty
of his murder, Her bail was withdrawn after the guilty verdict was handed down
earlier this month.
Mr. John Murphy (Judge) said Thandi was humiliated by her
husband’s extra-marital affairs but has been telling lies after lies to cover
up the truth about what she'd done.
However, members of the family are now demanding that his
killer be given a life sentence. sentencing procedures will commence today.
