Nigeria names squad for World Cup play-off

Abuja (AFP) - Nigeria named a 25-man squad for 2014 World Cup play-off against Ethiopia and a friendly against Italy in London on Sunday. Nigeria will host Ethiopia in a return leg playoff on November 16 in Calabar after they won the first game 2-1 in Addis Ababa last month. Two days later, they battle Italy in a friendly at Craven Cottage in London.
The two additions to the squad from last month’s World Cup play-off win in Ethiopia are Kenneth Omeruo Gabriel Reuben. Both players have been out of the squad on account of long-term injuries.
The Squad:
Goalkeepers: Vincent Enyeama (Lille/FRA), Austin Ejide (Hapoel Be’er Sheva/ISR), Chigozie Agbim (Enugu Rangers)
