Deadly Gun Attack On Nigeria Wedding Convoy.

Report has just reached us that Gunmen suspected to be members of Boko Haram have attacked a wedding convoy in northern Nigeria, killing more than 30 people including the groom.

This Islamic militants were blamed for the ambush on the notorious Bama-Banki road in state of Borno this weekend. The road runs alongside forests which are a known hideout for Boko Haram fighters.

Witnesses said the wedding party was returning to the state capital Maiduguri after a ceremony in Michika in nearby Adamawa state when the gunmen struck. It is not known whether the bride or her family were caught up in the attack. One driver, who did not wish to be named, said he saw dead bodies lying on the road.

The scene was gruesome with dead bodies on the road; all the victims were brutally murdered by these attackers."
