                 Anambra State Election

Mr. Mike Udah (Obi's spokesman) expressed that the election in Anambra State was not perfect, according to him, ‘’There were a few lapses across Anambra but those lapses were not enough to cancel’’. The election in southeastern  Anambra state has uncovered acrimonious divisions within Peoples Democratic Party.  In the Preliminary results Willie Obiano, of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), seems to be in the lead but officials are still on the hold until a new vote in other remaining districts.

Nigeria's independent electoral commission (INEC) has revealed that "supplemental vote" is needed in areas that experienced significant delays and voter registration problems while other parties candidate have demanded that all the results be scrapped.
