Ahmed Tijani hat-trick inspire club win
Ahmed Tijani got his first hat-trick of the new Azerbaijan league season as his club Susa SK secured a 3-0 away victory against Turan TIk.
The 26 year old striker who once featured for Sahdag FK was in terrific form as his goals proved vital for his team who endured a tough start against the Tovuz based hosts.
“I feel great and good scoring against three brilliant goals. It was a result of my constant training and fitness. I can assure of a better performance in my next game,” he told Goal after the game.
Ahmed has enjoyed good playing time this season and has so far justified his inclusion in the first eleven by scoring crucial goals in important games.
This victory takes his club to the fifth position while Araz PFK are currently placed first on the 15-team football league table.
